Dear friends,

    Over the years, my wife and I have become invested in a non-profit called Haven of Hope Ministry located in Lake Odessa, Michigan. The ministry focuses on helping marriages become stronger and in many cases, couples find hope and restoration. Many marriages benefit from this ministry, and I want it to grow. Haven of Hope Ministry is unique because the focus of the ministry is on root causes of conflict and not behavioral modification. We believe that true healing and wisdom comes from the Father himself and not us. In addition, for the past 20 years, HOH has provided these mentoring services free of charge to over 600 couples. My wife Jessica and I joined the executive board several months ago to give guidance to the ministry.
    The need for couples’ mentoring continues to grow, and in 2017 the board recognized the need for a new mentoring facility. We began a funding campaign that we now call Harvest of Hope. The Lord led us to purchase land, and our desire is to build a new facility large enough to expand our mentoring services. After five years, the finish line is in view, and we are within a few hundred thousand of being totally funded.  
    I would like to invite you to a fundraiser luncheon on Friday November 17, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Das Dutchman Essenhaus 240 US-20, Middlebury, IN 46540. The purpose of this meeting is to share with you the vision of Haven of Hope and the opportunity for you to financially invest in this exciting project. Your presence would be a delight and an encouragement to me. While this is a fundraiser event, it is important for you to know that you will not experience pressure to give. You will simply hear about what the Lord has been doing in marriages, and you can then decide if you would like to partner with us.
