SO YEAH

In the spring of 2017, the need to expand Haven of Hope’s physical facility became evident. The number of struggling couples contacting HOH was on the increase. Cramped quarters, limited counseling rooms, and a lack of a training/retreat center were barriers to meeting the growing needs of HOH clients.

Initially, a nearby vacant elementary school appeared on the market.  After much prayer, the board decided to move forward with the fundraising process. However, the possibility of purchasing the school took unexpected turns. It became evident HOH should not proceed with the purchase. We contacted donors to inform them of the change in plans – and that their donations were refundable if desired. Overwhelmingly, donors reaffirmed their support and cheered HOH on in their property search!

Within two months, a piece of land directly across the road from our currently leased office became available to us to purchase….the Kauffman Farm. 90 acres to be precise. This quiet, secluded property offers a beautiful mixture of open farmland and awe-inspiring woods. With an abundance of memories, Kauffman Farm has been in the family for generations. The Kauffman’s are now retired with a lifetime lease from HOH to remain in their treasured home.  On July 3, 2019 – Haven of Hope purchased the property for the envisioned ministry center.

We now have started the process to raise the additional funds needed to build the Haven of Hope Ministries and Retreat Center. We have already raised $140,000. However, $850,000 is still needed to complete the building project. We walk by faith, knowing the “God of Angel Armies is for us, so who can possibly be against us?”. – Romans 8:31

Will you partner with us and help provide a safe place for the hurting, hope in the midst of crisis, and restoration for broken relationships?
